The good new is that there are many organizations dedicated to helping people prepare for, and get, a new job in Nevada. The bad news is that this plethora of “Workforce Development” and “Career Education” organizations in Nevada has duplication in many of the services that they offer and, made it hard for job seekers to know where to go for the answers they seek.
To solve these problems, we designed this site to be the central point for job seekers to find the appropriate organization(s) that can supply them with the resources they need. We evaluate each job seeker’s wishes and desires then, we direct them to the organization(s) that can provide them with the resource that fit their specific needs.
Organizations are having trouble finding job candidates that not only have the hard skill they require, they are also having a hard time finding employees that have a good work ethic and can communicate and get along with other employees and management. These are soft skills that are not taught in traditional educational institutions.
To solve this problem, we've included a soft skills, self-improvement component into the program so that, by the time you find that perfect job, you've also become the kind of person that these employers are looking to hire.
A job seeker may be destined to attend a community college, trade school, or industry-specific training center to acquire a certification or accreditation needed to go to work in their desired field. Or, they may be ready to enter an internship. Maybe a combination of the two. Regardless of the path, we'll not only point them in the right direction, we'll prepare them to get the job they want.
